A growing concern about hits to the head was the major topic at the GM meetings earlier this week, and the matter was addressed by a pair of those general managers during Thursday’s NHL Hour.
PITTSBURGH (AP) -Pittsburgh Penguins forward Bill Guerin says the NHL must outlaw hits to the head.
That includes the kind of hit leveled by Guerin’s teammate, Matt Cooke, against the Boston Bruins’ Marc Savard.
