when you play hockey at a rink, and you either take a really hard slapshot and it breaks the glass, or you hit someone really hard and it breaks the glass, do you actually pay for a new glass panel? or is it just considered an accident that happens in the game every so often?

Most people have to wait years to be able to work in the States whereas a Canadian hockey player (or any other pro sports player) gets to jump right in…what’s the deal?
