Japan Pro Golf Tour 64 Introduction 64DD

Here is the introduction of Japan Pro Golf Tour 64. It looks like the Zelda Ocarina of Time intro in some way. More 64DD vids in DivX 6 format and 640×480 here : web.mac.com

oh, yea that thing you needed to play Perfect Dark and Donkey Kong, few others games …… I wonder how much ram that thing actually held, gonna look that up =| Thnx for reply

Do you remember the red RAM pack you could get for the 64? The DD required that to run, but when Nintendo realised the DD wasn’t going to happen, they released the RAM pack separately. So the DD games could have had better graphics by dint of being 64 games that used the ram pack, if that makes sense.

The 64dd sacrificed graphics for storage space

Exactly. The whole point was to hold more storage. The 64, DD or not, was pretty much at its graphical limits already.

did the 64DD have better graphics in anyway, or was the WHOLE point was to just hold more data on a disk than a catriage? Someone please explain the story on the DD to me. /=

It`s weird that the golf game is always the best game on many consoles in terms of graphic, on the virtual boy for example the golf game has better graphics then all the others game same for 64DD as u just saw

Interesting graphical style, almost like early cell shading?
